Indonesia has officially launched the “All Indonesia” Arrival Card, on September 1, 2025. It’s a new digital platform that all international passengers must complete before entering the country. The system, which went into effect today at major international airports including Soekarno-Hatta in Jakarta, Ngurah Rai in Bali, and Juanda in Surabaya, is aimed at streamlining immigration procedures and improving border security.
The All Indonesia Arrival Card consolidates customs, immigration, and health declarations into a single digital form. The government says the platform will accelerate entry procedures, reduce paperwork, and enhance data security.
Travelers are required to fill out the form within 72 hours before arrival via the official website or the All Indonesia mobile app, available on Android and iOS. Once completed, passengers will receive a QR code, which must be presented at immigration checkpoints.

Mandatory for All Foreign Visitors
Authorities confirmed that the requirement applies to all international arrivals, regardless of nationality. The rollout at major airports begins today, with full nationwide implementation scheduled for October 1, 2025.
“This is part of Indonesia’s effort to modernize its border control system, integrate services, and make entry procedures more efficient,” officials said in a statement.
In addition to the digital arrival card, international visitors must still comply with other entry requirements, including obtaining a Visa on Arrival (VOA) or an electronic VOA, and paying Bali’s tourist levy of IDR 150,000 (around USD 10–14) when entering the island.
Key Instructions for Travelers
- Complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card no later than 72 hours before landing.
- Save or download the QR code and present it at the airport.
- Prepare additional travel documents such as visa and proof of payment for the Bali tourist levy, if applicable.
Indonesia joins a growing list of countries adopting digital entry platforms. Similar systems are already in place in Singapore and Japan, where online arrival cards have replaced traditional paper-based forms. (Wage Erlangga)
